Locations supported

• Text channel:
  • This includes Announcement channels
  • Follow the standard instructions. See tutorials:
    • /poll: how to create a poll in Discord with Subo
    • /survey: how to create a multi-question survey in Discord with Subo
• Voice channel:
  • Using /settings, verify that the bot’s settings for survey-channel are set to same thread/channel as command. Change if need (read #️⃣ Survey channel for more)
  • Open the text chat in the voice channel (this is done by clicking the little text bubble icon next to the voice channel’s name)
  • Run /poll or /survey in the text chat where you want to post the poll/survey invitation

• Forum Post
  • Make sure the bot’s settings for survey-channel are set to same thread/channel as command: read #️⃣ Survey channel for more
  • Create a new Post if needed
  • Run /poll or /survey in the Post where you want to post the poll/survey invitation
  • Note: for surveys, respondents will answer in a temporary channel attached to the Survey Category defined in Settings (if any)

• Media

  • See Forum above

• Thread

  • Make sure the bot’s settings for survey-channel are set to same thread/channel as command: read #️⃣ Survey channel for more
  • Run /poll or /survey in the thread where you want to post the poll/survey invitation
  • Note: for surveys, respondents will answer in a private thread attached to the same channel as the original thread

  

• Private Thread

  • Same as above, but you first need to invite Subo to the private thread with @Subo the Survey Bot
